Inhalt:
This paper studies and compares two approaches to design and parametrize the q-current control loop of an electrical machine used in an electric vehicle application. Based on the identification of the parameters of the controlled system two control loop architectures were introduced and configured by pole-zero compensation. The stationary and dynamic behavior of both approaches were evaluated by simulations and verified on a motor test bench. Special focus is put on the drifting of motor parameters and their impact on the control stability and other control properties. It is found that both approaches differ from each other in their dynamic response behavior and their robustness against drifting motor parameters.
