This paper presents the design methodology and the tuning of the current loop of a three-phase Power Factor Correction (PFC) converter used in the on-board charger application. The control loop is analyzed for different load conditions considering the main parameter variation, the boost inductance. The controller is proposed in the alphabeta stationary frame with an adaptive resonant proportional compensator. Experimental results validate the controller performance for an 11 kW on-board charger.
