This paper proposes a control strategy to give the GFM inverter high fault-ride-through capability. Sup-plemental control strategy for over current suppression and anti-out of synchronization with GFM inverter control are described. Proposed control strategy was implemented on a 2 kVA inverter hardware, and three different fault-ride-through tests were performed. As a result, the effectiveness of proposed control strategy was confirmed.
