Inhalt:
For the connection of power electronic converters to the European low-voltage network, the limit values of interference voltages and grid current harmonics according to EN 61000-6-3 and EN 61000-3-2/12 must be fulfilled. For this purpose, the EMI filter on the grid side of the frequency converter must be designed. A generally approach is shown on how to analytically calculate the line-conducted interference voltage and the grid current harmonics. The procedure can be directly transferred to all passive filter topologies. Due to the very small calculation time, the approach is ideal suitable for grid filter design routines.
