Flood is a common natural disaster that causes a large amount of property damage and human casualties every year, therefore, it is of great theoretical and practical importance to study the risk factors of regional floods. Floods occur frequently in Asia; however, the geographical features of Asia are rich and diverse, which leads to different meteorological characteristics in different parts of Asia in different seasons (time of year), and these factors can lead to the different occurrence of floods. In order to study the occurrence and general patterns of floods in Asia, this paper uses innovative data visualization software to analyze the relevant datasets. The paper focuses on the influence of time and geographic location on the occurrence of floods in order to explore the occurrence of floods in Asia at different times and geographic locations, and to help draw conclusions about the general patterns of floods by using characteristic graphs from the software in order to better predict the trends of floods and thus better prevent them.
