We investigate the problem of solving large sparse linear complementarity problems. First, we propose an extrapolated relaxation Hermitian and skew-Hermitian splitting iteration method for solving large sparse linear complementarity problems. Then, the convergence theory of thematods is established when the coefficient matrix is a positive or an H - matrix.
