Aiming at the optimal design of ballistic missile overall parameters under a given range, a hybrid particle swarm optimization(HPSO)algorithm based on Regula-Falsi method is proposed. Firstly, the overall parameter optimization model of a ballistic missile is established, and the decoupling design of control parameters of flight program angle and propellant mass is carried out; Secondly, the Regula-Falsi method is used to quickly iterate the propellant mass, and on this basis, the particle swarm optimization algorithm is used to globally optimize the flight program angel parameters; The overall performance of the missile is optimized by alternating iterative optimization of the overall parameters. The experiments, compared with traditional optimization algorithms, show that the HPSO algorithm has the advantages of high accuracy of solution and fast convergence speed, which can meet the needs of missile overall design.
