In order to explore the influence on the thermal jet created by the structure of discharge port. In this paper, the simulation models of different radius-ratio oval discharge ports are established. Using CFD method to conduct relevant research and analysis on the characteristics of the underwater vehicle thermal jet from different radius-ratio oval discharge ports. The calculation results show that the temperature attenuation characteristics and the surface temperature characteristics have obvious feature changes by adjusting the radius-ratio of discharge port. The float height and surface maximum temperature of thermal jet have a significant decrease under the action of 4:25 radius-ratio oval discharge port, and the surface maximum diffusion distance in Y-Axis has a good inhibitory effect.
