From a macro perspective, material supply not only includes the process of materials from the buyer to the seller through logistics, but also covers the entire link from the selection of material suppliers to the delivery of materials. The current research on the optimization of material supply is mainly reflected in the optimization of material transfer and distribution center selection, material inventory and pricing optimization, material distribution vehicle scheduling and distribution path optimization. Taking the power grid material supply as an example, this paper focuses on analyzing the material distribution problem in the power grid material supply process. The radio frequency identification device of the Internet of Things technology can identify the material outbound information, and then locate the material distribution route through the GIS system. Therefore, a grid material distribution path optimization model based on the Internet of Things technology is established. By comparing the actual distribution cost before optimization and the optimized distribution cost, we can see that the optimization model constructed in this paper can plan the optimal distribution path, thereby reducing the distribution cost.
