At present, most of the measurement of shaft parts in traditional industry is in contact measurement, this paper proposes to apply binocular vision technology to the non-contact measurement of shaft parts. This method realizes image processing through camera calibration and stereo correction; The contour of shaft parts is extracted by combining image segmentation with gray value change; In order to realize the stereo matching of shaft parts, the parts are not placed parallel to the camera; Finally, the spatial coordinates of the axis contour are calculated through the non parallel binocular camera model. The results show that the method is feasible, fast and easy to realize on-line real-time measurement.
