Abstract: passive sound source location technology uses the time difference of sound propagation to locate the target sound source. Based on the combination of the advantages and disadvantages of classical Chan location algorithm and Taylor location algorithm, this paper proposes Taylor Chan algorithm, which avoids the sharp decline of algorithm performance and inaccurate location due to the increase of noise based on quadratic least squares Chan location algorithm. The algorithm in this paper only uses the value of Chan location algorithm as the initial estimation value, which reduces the uncertainty of artificial estimation; According to the initial estimation value, Taylor location algorithm will quickly reach the optimal solution in the implementation of location calculation, so as to avoid the calculation result falling into local optimization. Through simulation experiments and comparison, it is proved that the algorithm has fast and accurate positioning, reliable and stable performance.
