Automatic identification of crop growth period is one of the cores of precision agriculture support technology. In order to identify different crop growth periods in real time and accurately and obtain crop growth information, a crop growth period recognition method based on convolution neural network is proposed. Firstly, the strawberry crop image is preprocessed to filter the noise; Then, the characteristics of different growth periods of strawberry crops are extracted by convolution neural network, and a model is built to classify and identify the growth periods of strawberry crops. The experimental results show that the method combined with convolution neural network modelling can automatically extract the key features of strawberry crops and effectively identify different growth periods.
