The system realizes Line load network detection and fault location device through Direct Digital frequency Synthesis signal generator(DDS) module, signal conditioning circuit, precision bridge with high precision reference resistance, constant current source circuit module, peak detection module, instrument amplifier module and 16-bit high-precision Analog to Digital Converter(ADC) module. It includes measuring the certain range values of resistance, capacitance and inductance, detecting the series and parallel connection of Resistance, Inductance and Capacitance(RLC), and automatically detecting the open circuit state or short circuit distance of the line. Microcontroller Unit(MCU) controls DDS to output single frequency and sweep frequency signals, carries out Fast Fourier Transform(FFT) analysis on the corresponding sinusoidal characteristic parameters of the load circuit, and realizes the distinction of the network through amplitude frequency characteristics and phase frequency characteristics. The 16-bit high-precision ADC is used to measure the Direct Current(DC) voltage of instrument amplifier and peak detection output to realize the measurement of RLC value and short-circuit distance. The design has the advantages of high stability, low power consumption, suppression of loop noise, low cost and high precision, and meets the needs of modern load loop automatic measurement equipment.
