The pretreatment of water supply sludge using ultrasonic and microwave modules and low temperature cycle process was studied to improve sludge dewatering characteristics. Ultrasonic and microwave modules can remove water from sludge in a short time with low energy consumption. Combined with heat recovery system of low temperature cycle process, the technology based on ultrasonic and microwave modules can greatly reduce the moisture content of sludge and meet the national standard urban sewage treatment sludge disposal-mixed landfill sludge (CJ/T249-2007). The result of the orthogonal test show that the optimum combination is ultrasonic power(0.012kw), microwave time (15.0min), thermal cycle time(17.5min), thermal cycle temperature (55.0℃). Analysis of economic cost and actual operation of the project based on this technology has greater feasibility.
