In the process of fish processing, the head-tail orientation is the key to realize the automatic processing of fish. Based on the measured light screen scanning to get the fish image. Matlab is used as the upper computer to extract and analyze the fish contour curve. Then the head and tail posture discrimination algorithm is proposed based on Harris corner detection. The following adjusting plate is designed to adjust the orientation of the fish attitude. At the same time, the dynamic simulation of the adjustment process is carried out by Adams, and the key parameters of the adjustment device are explored and determined. The preliminary experimental results show that the success rate of head and tail discrimination is 92% and the success rate of adjustment is 98%. The research results can provide reference for the development of directional feeding equipment in the automatic processing of fish.
