Video Key Frame Extracting Methods Suitable to Different Targets

With the increasing development of multimedia technology, the number of videos has reached an unprecedented level in the recent years. As an important way to obtain information, videos are extracted with key frames for getting information with high efficiency. A viewer does not have to go through the complete videos. In this paper, we attempt to use different methodologies such as optimized frame difference to find key frame extraction algorithms suitable for different types of videos to help people process video files.
