Due to the unforeseeable generation characteristics the increasing integration of renewable energy sources brought new challenges, such as reliability, to the electrical power systems operation. Therefore, future power systems require more flexibility options to deal with the uncontrollable production behavior. Demand response program is a proven technique to reduce the demand peaks and dips in the demand profile. An algorithm is developed in this paper that combines incentive- and time-based demand response program which prioritizes willingness and consumption elasticity of the industrial customers. Different scenarios and study cases are executed with historical data to test the correct response of the developed algorithm.
