Labelling Diversity for MIMO Systems

This paper is to contribute a new space-time diversity scheme, in which two different labelling maps (both with high asymptotic coding gain) are applied in adjacent space streams. Several methods, i. e. EXtrinsic Information Transfer (EXIT) Chart, Distance Spectrum, Asymptotic Coding Gain evaluation, as well as Monte Carlo simulation, display better performance of the proposed system in comparison with its ancestor, Bit-Interleaved Space-Time Coded Modulation with Iterative Decoding (BI-STCM-ID).
