A graphical Tool for Specification, Rapid Prototyping and Implementation of Location Based Services

In this paper we introduce a graphical editor that supports the specification of location aware applications. It allows specifying physical objects such as users, obstacles etc. as well as logical objects like services or information hot spots. The editor has two different back ends. It supports a simulation mode which can be used for rapid prototyping of the specified application, and an implementation mode which can be used to program our own middleware platform for location aware services.
