Inhalt:
A crucial problem in bistatic SAR is time and frequency synchronization. The accurate time benchmark and high stable frequency sources are necessary for range measurement and coherent processing in azimuth direction. This paper analyzes the effect of several kinds of synchronization errors on BSAR image formation, and demonstrates the synchronization requirements. Some computer simulation results are also presented.
