For the first time, we experimentally demonstrate SOA-based optical add/drop multiplexer (OADM) nodes for dynamic wavelength drop & add operations in high-speed coherent DSCM-WDM metro-access networks. Results show 291 Gb/s/λ net data rate coherent DSCM transmission with highly flexible switching, supporting up to 5 nodes.
