Liquid-core fibers represent a novel platform for nonlinear frequency conversion with unique properties beyond their solid-core counterparts. In particular, their ability to shape the waveguide dispersion through an extreme thermo-optical response and strong core diameter susceptibility allows the implementation of unique and reconfigurable dispersion landscapes.
