This paper presents a frequency-tunable 2.5 GHz – 2.7 GHz band-pass δ-σ modulator in SiGe BiCMOS 0.25micrometer process tailored for fiber-wireless distributed antenna systems. Utilizing multi-feedback coefficient controls and frequency-tunable resonators, the BPDSM ensures modulator stability with a low sampling frequency. Experimental results confirm consistent performance and suggest potential for lower transmission rates in fiber-wireless DAS applications.
