We propose a three-stage ROADM node architecture to support scaling to 64 degrees and beyond, and demonstrate an enabling 64x64 wavelength selective switch that supports partial wavelengths in C band. The fabricated P-WSS shows loss < 9.5dB and 0.5dB bandwidth > 143GHz for 150GHz channel.
