We propose and experimentally evaluate a passive neuromorphic processor performing self-coherent reception and equalisation of complex modulations, based on recurrent optical filters and simple low-bandwidth direct detection. Followed by lightweight electronic equalisation, the receiver suc-cessfully demodulates 32 GBd QAM signals at 50 km in C-band.
