We propose and experimentally demonstrate a hybrid optoelectronic tensor core, realizing a computing precision beyond 8 bits for arbitrary matrix-vector multiplication, and an accuracy of 95.4% (vs. 96.1% digital) in the MNIST dataset recognition task.
