We propose and experimentally demonstrate a two-step parameter control method, which automatically optimizes the condition for optical flat comb generation using a Mach-Zehnder modulator. Combining heuristic parameter estimation and analytical spectral flattening steps, spectrally-flattened 25-GHz-spaced optical comb is automatically generated.
