CAESAR and SqueeSAR are two solutions proposed in the literature, in the framework of Multipass Interferometry, that exploit spatial multilooking to carry out a filtering of interferograms to enhance monitoring performances in presence of Distributed Scatterers. In this paper, we exploit decision tests operating on the filtered data to address the problem of assessing performances of both methods in a detection theory framework. Theoretical analysis in terms of probabilities of false alarm and detection as well as experiments on a real Sentinel-1 dataset will be also carried out.
