Inhalt:
Nanoparticles synthesis in microfluidic systems has advantages over conventional large-scale production methods due to their precise size control abilities. The particle size analysis is typically done offline using Dynamic Light Scattering techniques. Here, we present a hybrid system in which Dynamic Light Scattering is integrated into a microfluidic chip utilized for particle synthesis. By compensating for flow effects, the measurement is performed in real-time during flow, thus enabling an improvement of quality control and an acceleration of process development.
