Inhalt:
Nonlinear mechanisms in combination with motion control systems are increasingly being used in modern packaging machines. Cyclical motions with high, but variable, machine speeds characterize the processes realized with these systems. At the same time, several working tools often must be synchronized to ensure product quality and process stability. High motion accuracy at the individual working tools is essential for this. Varying machine speeds and high accuracy are conflicting goals and a challenge, even with modern control systems. In this work, the resulting conflicts are examined. An approach is discussed and experimentally validated, with which the motion accuracy can be increased despite variable machine speed. The research is carried out on an example mechanism from industrial practice.
