Inhalt:
In this paper, we describe a system for low voltage grids that has been developed and tested as part of a funded project. The politically desired reduction of greenhouse gas emissions leads to new tasks in the planning and operation of electrical low voltage grids. A rising number of renewable energy sources and new electrical loads affect the grids. As a result, system operators have to find innovative approaches for operation strategy, asset management and planning principles. Those tasks are addressed by the project that this paper is based on. A power flow management system controls the available flexibilities as a modern operation strategy. A monitoring system is used to support the asset management in the technical prioritization of grid expansion measures and to observe the actual grid state.
