Inhalt:
This paper gives a comprehensive overview of the development, modelling, realization and control of a two-phase miniaturized linear direct actuator. The mathematical modelling of the actuator is derived and considered analytically for both the mechanical and electrical domains. Based on the analytical model, the implementation of an extended state control is presented, in which the slider position is determined by an integrated Hall sensor. Here, the force-proportional current supply of the actuator is limited by a built-in temperature sensor. Finally, the control behaviour of the actuator is experimentally validated and evaluated with respect to dynamics and steady-state accuracy.
