Pseudo resistors are frequently used in the DC feedback path of biomedical amplifiers thanks to their very high-ohmic resistance values. Care must be taken during their design process as models used in standard circuit simulators frequently provide too optimistic values as leakage mechanisms are not sufficiently weil described. Using a simple design approach, however, enables prediction of the behavior of such resistors if certain design margins are considered.
