Inhalt:
Battery electric trains require the presence of a recharging infrastructure. In order to build this infrastructure cost-effectively, it is advisable to dispense landside power electronics components as far as possible. Using a charging station equipped with a Scott transformer, the perturbations on the three-phase-grid were investigated by using an artificial load of 1 MW. Hereby it has been shown that for purely single-phase loads, lower voltage unbalance values can be achieved with the Scott transformer than with a single-phase transformer.
