Wavelength conversion for all-optical switching and optical phase conjugation for longhaul communication links are desirable transformations. They can be achieved cost efficiently by means of integrated optical circuits in a silicon on insulator waveguide. We extend our geometry optimization for a multi-mode nano-rib photonic waveguide by a joint multidimensional approach and optimize for different scenarios. The search space is constrained to regions of non-degenerate four-wave mixing (signal and idler separated from pumps) and consider operation in the optical O, S, C and L-bands. We define different scenarios: optical phase conjugation vs. wavelength conversion; inter- vs. intra band operation in different bands and free mode operation (single and multimode allowed) vs. enforced multimode operation. Conversion efficiency is evaluated by an algorithm which considers coninuous regions of phase matching.
