Dieselgate - A warning for the "Energiewende"

This paper shall sensitise for the existing and upcoming problems and challenges network operators, plant owners and specialised service providers face in order to ensure a reliable “Energiewende”. In the following, experiences based on more than eight years of on-site inspection and testing at both newly installed and retrofitted decentralised PGUs according to the German ordinances SDLWindV (Systemdienstleistungsverordnung Wind), SysStabV (Systemstabil-itätsverordnung) and NElEV (Verordnung zum Nachweis von elektrotechnischen Eigenschaften von Energienalagen) are discussed and possible solutions for the future deduced. In the context of system stability, this subject represents an overall interest for all participants of the so-called “Energiewende”in Germany and internationally.
