Inhalt:
Polarimetric SAR images provide information about the scattering mechanisms that increases the capacity of urban areas analysis. However, due to technological constraint, their resolution is often coarser than the resolution of single channel SAR images. To overcome this, we propose a resolution enhancement algorithm for polarimetric images using a mono-channel SAR image acquired in interferometric condition. This algorithm is based on the spectral properties of point-like scatterers. It is tested on airborne and spaceborne data. The point-like scatterers are well focused and their polarimetric and interferometric behaviours are preserved.
