Detection Performance of GMTI from SAR images with CS

For the application of compressed sensing (CS) to radar applicable performance measures have not been analyzed so far. Moreover, the performance measures of radar are very different from the existing ones for CS. In this paper we analyze the application of CS to ground moving target indication (GMTI) from preprocesssed SAR images. These are considered with regard to the performance of detection in terms of receiver operating characteristics (ROC)-curves. Especially, we compare the performance of different CS approaches and determine which one shows best reconstruction quality.
