High Efficient True 3-Phase Compact Switch-Mode Rectifier Module for Telecom Power Solutions

In this paper, a flexible high efficient true 3-phase switch mode rectifier module is presented consisting of star- or deltaconnected single phase units without the necessity of the access to the mains neutral wire. Topology considerations and choice of the three power conversion modules and their balancing control strategy are explained. Test results including the transient performance during abnormal conditions prove the reliable and consistent operation of this true 3-phase rectifier module.
