Inhalt:
The concept of Quality of Experience (QoE) describes quality as perceived by the end user. The integration of technologies that allow a high level of perceived quality in the aggregation and access network of telecommunication providers is driven by increasing quality awareness and expected increases in network congestion. Nevertheless, major obstacles need to be overcome for their success, for example technological feasibility, end-user acceptance and the implementation of joint efforts of the involved actors on the market. In this paper we point out emerging key factors in the QoE context and shed light on developing research fields.
