TanDEM-X Data Driven Workflow in Payload Ground Segment

The TanDEM-X mission extends the operational TerraSAR-X mission by the TDX satellite to generate a global covering high quality Digital Elevation Model. Therefore, the existing Payload Ground Segment (PGS) is massively extended to handle the ordering, data reception, transfer, archiving, data processing and the delivery of the new TanDEM-X products. A Data Driven Workflow scenario was planned and realised, and the extensions need to be integrated into the operational TerraSAR-X environment without disturbance of the users.
