Inhalt:
GEODA is a multiple planar array smart antenna that is being developed in order to receive and track several satellite signals simultaneously. GEODA antenna has an special structure that allows receiving signals from 5deg to broadside in elevation and 360deg for azimuth in the 1.7GHz working band. Several arrays shape the antenna and work independently since they have their own complete receiver. It is also possible to combine more than one arrays for special tasks. This paper is focused in the different devices and subsystems that conforms the triangular panel, showing their characteristics and behavior. This document also shows the receiving and pointing capabilities of the GEODA antenna array.
