Optimal selection of phase-keyed signals for bistatic SAR

Phase-keyed signals may be used not only in communication system, but also in SAR. Essential problem for the SAR with phase-keyed signal is the selection of these signals. This selection must be based on understanding of SAR processing methods and, particularly, should analyse appropriate space ambiguity function of the bistatic SAR. Principles of the phase-keyed signals selection are presented in this paper along with analysis of the corresponding space ambiguity functions.
