Computer-supported training for the interpretation of radar images

Inhalt:
To teach radar-image interpreters there is a certain need for software supporting the training of the specialists beside classic face-to-face learning scenarios. The software has to provide the understanding necessary to interpret radar images as part of a blended-learning scenario. Due to heterogeneous user groups didactics play a major role. Content and exercises have to be developed, following one sophisticated approach. Using a constructivist approach it is ensured that the knowledge is internalized by learners. Additionally the software needs special image interpreter components for the training on real radar images.
