The Sostar-X system is a multi mode Radar demonstrator that allows the acquisition of high squinted and long range spotlight SAR data. High squint and long range together with the high resolution of the Sostar-X sensor evoke special efforts for the algorithm of a SARprocessor. This paper discusses these problems and presents some spotlight SAR processing results of Sostar-X data.
