Content Foreword

It is the 26th edition of the WSA and the 13th edition of the SCC.

The technical program includes regular sessions on classical topics such as channel and source coding, antennas, precoding, optics, multi-dimensional spaces as well as modern timely topics such as machine learning including federated learning, reconfigurable intelligent surfaces, and communications and sensing. In addition, the technical program includes a set of special sessions that presents carefully selected highlights from the German 6G research hubs. These sessions touch upon Integrated Sensing and Communications, Smart Radio Environments for 6G, Satellite Communications for 6G, and Explorative Concepts for 6G Air Interface.
Die Informationstechnische Gesellschaft im VDE (VDE ITG) ist als interdisziplinär arbeitende, wissenschaftliche Fachgesellschaft in das fachübergreifende Netzwerk des VDE eingebunden. Sie agiert als Schnittstelle für Experten der Informationstechnik (ITK) in Wirtschaft, Verwaltung, Lehre und Forschung. Ihre Mitglieder bündeln in enger internationaler Anbindung die deutsche Kompetenz im Bereich der ITK. Die ITG fördert Forschung und Anwendung dieser Schlüsseltechnologie sowie deren effizienten Einsatz in den Bereichen Daten- und Kommunikationstechnik und -systeme, Umweltschutz, Medizin und Verkehr.
Mit ihrem weitgespannten internationalen Netzwerk versteht sich die ITG als Plattform für Innovationen und Wissenstransfer für die erfolgreiche Kooperation von Industriepartnern und Forschungseinrichtungen. Hierzu führt die ITG eine ganze Reihe von Fachtagungen, Diskussionssitzungen und Workshops durch. Mit ihren Studien und Empfehlungen bringt die ITG ihre Expertise in Politik und Gesellschaft ein und nimmt an Förderprogrammen teil.

Die Technische Universität Braunschweig ist eine traditionsreiche Technische Universität mit einem klaren Profil in Forschung und Lehre.
