This part of standards series DIN EN 60761 applies to equipment intended for simultaneous, delayed or discrete sequential measurement of (radioactive) aerosols in gaseous effluents discharged to the environment. It specifies the specific requirements for the monitoring of aerosols. The general requirements, technical characteristics, test procedures, radiation, electrical, safety and environmental characteristics of DIN EN 60761-1 also apply for this standard, if not otherwise specified. For the measurement of aerosol bound radon decay products it is refered to DIN EN 61577 3 (VDE 0493-1-10-3):2015-03.
