This standard contains the German version of the European Standard EN 55032 which takes over the International Standard CISPR 32:2011. It deals with the limitation of the radio-frequency emission (radio disturbance suppression) of multimedia equipment and specifies the relevant limits and measuring methods. The International Standards CISPR 13 and CISPR 22 or the European Standards EN 55013 and EN 55022, respectively, continue to apply for equipment, that is described in their scope also. Sound and television broadcast receiver and associated equipment also continue to fall into the scope of CISPR 13 or EN 55013, respectively, and information technology equipment (ITE) continue to fall into the scope of CISPR 22 or EN 55022, respectively.
