This standard contains the German version of the European Standard EN 50401 + A1:2011 and contains requirements related to exposure of the general public to electromagnetic fields from mobile base stations and fixed terminal stations for wireless telecommunication systems in the frequency range 110 MHz to 40 GHz. The objective of this standard is to verify for the putting into service of these equipment, that the compliance with the basic restrictions or reference levels, respectively, which are specified in the Council Recommendation 1999/519/EEC for the for safety of persons in radio-frequency electromagnetic fields, is ensured. The measurement and calculation methods are described in the European Standard EN 50400 which is referenced in this standard. With the help of A1:2011 the A deviations were deleted via incorporation of relevant requirements.
