Basic standard for the calculation and measurement of electromagnetic field strength and SAR related to human exposure from radio base stations and fixed terminal stations for wireless telecommunication systems (110 MHz - 40 GHz);
German version EN 50383:2010 Class/Status:
Standard,
withdrawn
Released: 2011-06
VDE Art. No.: 0848042
This standard contains the German version of the European Standard EN 50383:2010 with requirements for the evaluation of the electromagnetic fields and the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) in the frequency range 110 MHz to 40 GHz caused by radio base stations and fixed terminal stations for wireless telecommunication systems related to human exposure to electromagnetic fields. The objective of this standard is to specify the procedure for the demonstration of compliance with the reference values for the electromagnetic field or the basic restrictions for the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) for the equipment covered by this standard. The description of the evaluation methods and specifications to this measurement phantom are contained in this standard whereby references are made to EN 62209-2:2010.
